In life there are many types of tears
That stream down one's face.
All different emotions
That make up the human race.

As you vow to one another
There's tears of happiness on your wedding day
You vow to honour, love and cherish,
As you travel along life's way.

Tears of joy at the miracle of birth,
As with your baby you bond.
The trauma of labour long forgotten,
As you gaze with a look so fond.
Then there's the first day at school
You wonder how they will fare.
You're on tender hooks all day
Awaiting for them, their day with you to share.

Tears are an outlet
To many situations in life.
The loss of a friendship
Because of war or strife.
The tears of grief and sorrowWhen a loved one passes away.
The many tears I've cried in my life
When I've lost someone this way.

Next time you see a stream
On it's way to the sea.

Beautiful and sentimental, tears are composed of the same elements in everyone but they each serve an expressed purpose. The ending of your poem is stunning:

Amazing poem exclusively devoted to tears—tears of joy, tears of happiness, tears of grief, tears of sorrow, tears of disappointment, tears of sadness, tears of loss.
But tears of joy and happiness only women can shed and that is what I understand and think. Only women can laugh and cry at the same time. I am not sure you will agree with me.
Lovely photos of your son’s wedding and your grandson being held by grand dad. These are memories to cherish.
When a person doesn’t cry the emotion gets welled up inside and it is quite possible the person will become emotionally unbalanced. So it is better to cry whenever needed.
However, men are trained not to cry on many occasions because it is seen as a sign of weakness. Of course, this thinking is becoming obsolete in the modern days.
I enjoyed this lovely poem along with excellent photos.
