She waits each day for the phone to ring,
Will it be today?
She gets on with the chores,
"Please phone ring" she prays.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
She waits until it's time for bed.
Another day gone by.
She wonders where and why things have come to this
As she goes to sleep with a sigh.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Another day dawns with a descion made.
As she awakes from her slumber.
To-day she will phone him,
Only to find he has changed his number.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Cut off from all commuication,
Why is he full of hate.
Another day of hope.
As she longingly waits.

Ah sorry to hear this Yvonne. At least you can know you've done everything you could to mend the relationship. Only God can change the heart of someone.

I'm sorry, Yvonne. Does anyone else have his number?
Yvonne, that is terrible! Did he move as well?
Hello Yvonne,
I know the pangs of waiting endlessly, hoping, praying, expecting a call from someone we really care and worry about. It is inconceivable how this came about when we did everything we can for the person we loved. Times are changing Yvonne. There are too many external influences to change a persons mind and heart. All that we can do is to hope and pray,God bless.
Excellent poem. You have conveyed your thoughts very beautifully.
Many thanks for taking so much trouble to leave a comment in my blog. I really don't know what is happening to my blog. I also have problem to writing comments in some blogs. I suppose I have to put up this.
Have a nice day Yvonne,
Joseph
I'm saddened to hear of this. But things can change overnight. Even a heart. Especially a heart. I agree with Wanda that God can change a heart. Keep the faith!
this was such a painful expression... hope you are taking care of your health ...
My heart breaks to read this. I can't imagine the pain. I will hold you in my thoughts today.
So so sorry, Yvonne.
Karen

Keep waiting, keep hoping. It WILL pay off in the long run! It has to.

I'm so sorry Yvonne. It's a shame that your son and your grandchildren are missing out on so much. Julie
So sorry to see that you're in such heartbreak. It's a shame. I know things will get better. Take care my friend :)
I'm so sorry to hear this. It's none of my business but I can't help but wonder if this is about your son, if you have one. Sorry, I just started following and am not really familiar with everything. I can tell you that my mom and I were estranged for many years before she passed and I have so much regret about it now. I was "full of hate" for a long time. I wish things had been different. I wish she could be here and see how different I am now. I wish I could tell her how much I appreciate everything she did for me and she could meet her grandson and see what a joy he is. I hope the one you're missing doesn't have to live with the same regrets someday and that he comes around before it's too late and all he has is his regrets.
