I was sat at my pc.
About to start a new post
For blogland to see.
>>>>>>>>>>>>
I happened to glance at the total of followers,
466 to be precise.
As I sat there looking
It went to 465 before my very eyes.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Whoever decided to leave me,
Couldn't have known I saw their departure.
I felt a wee bit sad.
But I guess that's nature.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
I am now back to 466,
By someone new to me.
But how strange I witnessed someone's leaving,
As I sat by my pc.

What are the odds you would see it happen? I've logged in and noticed someone gone but I've never seen it happen.
But hey - the ones that matter stay, right?
This happened to me the other day too... I always feel a little sad when that happens, but on the other hand... we get to meet lots of wonderful new people too.

Ps - my post (your post) is just up at Daily Dodo - thanks for dropping by!

Quite a coincidence that you would actually see it as it happened. But one can't measure there success by those numbers.
Hey Yvonne! Yeah, it happens sometimes, but I think people fall off the blogosphere or what not. Not because they don't want to follow anymore. Many of them are just floaters anyway. Don't take it personally. :)
Well, that's sort of a bummer isn't it. I had that happen to me last week. I lost one and gained a new one by the end of the day so I figured, oh well. I just read about your book and your blog at Daily Dodo. Congratulations on your book and I look forward to following along with your blog! I adore the way you write your poems and I love the sweet music that's playing in my ears as I type this. :)
Well, I just made it 467 :-)
I know the feeling, but isn't it wonderful when I new follower comes along?
Happens to me all the time ... and it looks like you just got another to make up for it! ;o)
